By taking a slow and mindful approach to my work I am considering my fabric as the base cloth of life and stitches as daily experience.
Using repeated stitch into various weight fabrics I am making visual issues such as visibility, transparency and entanglement.
My new work Memory Reconstructed - In Isolation includes cloth and hand made books. These carry traces of our human routine in everyday life.
Using rust marks on selected paper and cloth I am referencing mankind's impact on both the planet and each other.
